Big congrats go out to David Van Riet as he took second place, the silver medal and $300.00 in yesterday’s First Annual Riverside Casino Culinary Classic!
I’m really proud of all of our students that participated in this event. The learning experience was formidable and the competition fierce. Brandi Sokol, Anthony Nace and Suresh Miller all from IHCC entered the event as well and Ernie Vega along with the help of Andreanna Schooley who both worked prep, back up and cameras during the grueling 10 hour event. Of course there was quite a lot more work to this event in preparation and planning so “hat’s off” to the group and we certainly want to thank the generous and helpful Riverside Casino staff for making our stay a comfortable one! Can’t wait for next year!
